Students Speak about Experiences with Learning Robotics From Home
This session will celebrate the work of several students (Grades 5-8) that participated in a summer, online program with Longwood University. Students worked at home using Hummingbird Robotics kits to tinker and create their own masterpieces over a two-week period through synchronous and asynchronous learning activities using various digital tools to communicate their understandings.

During this kids talk panel, students from the summer program will discuss, describe, and share their experiences as they used vital skills (e.g. critical thinking, communication) to experience robotics during a pandemic. Come learn how these students worked to craft their robotic masterpieces through successes (and failures!) while learning at home. Come ask them some questions!
