In 2019, The VSTE Board of Directors agreed to create an Ad Hoc Inclusion Task Force focused on issues related to diversity in education and educational technology in Virginia. This group had two initial goals: learn more about the challenges related to workforce diversity and identify ways VSTE can help increase diversity. This taskforce is now a committee with three initiatives: The Mentoring Project; Professional Development; and the Website. Panel participants (Jennifer Orr, Amy Stewart, Bea Leiderman, Charles Randolph, Katie Fielding) will discuss their work involving the three initiatives and the committee as a whole.
