It is a dream come true for most of us - Minecraft Education Edition is now available on Chromebooks!

Minecraft Education Edition has been available as an instructional resource on Windows 10 devices and iPads for some time, and with the advent of Minecraft Education Edition on Chromebooks through Google Play Store, teachers and students now are able to find alternative means for assessment and increase creativity and collaboration in the classroom. Minecraft Education Edition enables teachers to integrate Computer Science into various subjects seamlessly and allow students to express their learning through multiple means of representation.

This presentation will walk attendees through how they can use this instructional resource without having any prior knowledge of experiencing in Minecraft. Attendees will also received resources such as pre-made lessons and worlds that they can begin implementing in their classrooms immediately.

In addition to Nick Grzeda speaking, Mike Speidel and Sharon Brandon, both Instructional Facilitators of Computer Science will be co-presenting.
